Find the search opportunity that fits your business
A store can attract visitors who never become suitable customers. We start with your products, stock, margins and target market, then examine the searches and landing pages that connect to those commercial priorities. Search volume helps describe demand. It does not tell us which product range deserves your next investment.
The initial review looks at the route from search to purchase. Can Google discover the relevant pages? Does a collection answer the query clearly? Can a shopper compare products and understand availability? Those questions determine the work before we commit to a content calendar.
What you receive in the first sprint
- A search baseline and agreed priorities. Your current search visibility, relevant buying questions, competing pages and the exact URLs we will work on.
- One useful buying guide. A new guide or a material improvement to an existing one, built around your product facts and the questions that affect a purchase.
- One collection and up to two product pages. Clearer comparisons, accurate details and links that help shoppers move from an answer to a suitable product.
- Discovery fixes and a handover. Agreed search-access and structured-data improvements, known referral and order measurement, mobile checks and a record of what changed.
We work in your existing store templates. Access, product information and feasibility are checked before payment; the agreed scope fits within 20 hours, including research and communication.
Your starting point, made visible
Your Kinetic Search Baseline shows which searches and pages deserve attention. Before analytics access, we use dated third-party estimates for your target market. Once connected, Search Console and analytics show your actual clicks, visits and attributed orders.
| Baseline | The decision it supports |
|---|---|
| Ranking keywords and search-traffic estimates | Which relevant queries already have visibility, and where a stronger page may help. |
| Brand and non-brand buying questions | Where shoppers discover a product before they know your store’s name. |
| Your pages and competing answers | What is already useful, what is missing and which existing page to improve. |
| Known Google and AI referrals, with attributed orders | Whether those visits reach products and purchases after the changes. |
Traffic estimates and recorded sales are reported separately. For AI recommendations, we also document the questions tested and any cited sources, so a citation and a visit remain distinct observations.
An example: make a duvet range easier to choose
Imagine a store with stocked duvets and a useful guide that never helps the reader choose among them. A focused sprint could improve that guide with a warmth-and-fill comparison, bring the relevant advice onto the duvet collection, and clarify the facts on two product pages.
The baseline would identify the relevant queries and landing pages. The handover would record the changes and how to follow guide-to-product visits and attributed orders. This is an example of scope; your store’s evidence determines the actual work.
Consultant, agency or in-house hire?
| Working model | When it can fit |
|---|---|
| Founder-led consultant | You want direct strategy and implementation on a focused set of priorities. |
| Multi-specialist agency | You need several channels and specialist teams working at once. |
| In-house hire | You have enough ongoing work and management capacity for a dedicated role. |
Kinetic fits an established store that needs an experienced working partner for a defined improvement. Ongoing paid-media management, social production and a complete replatforming are separate requirements.
How do we choose the first pages?
We review the existing search evidence before proposing a rewrite, redirect or consolidation. A page that looks sparse may already bring relevant visits. A page with many impressions may need a clearer search result or a better match to the buyer’s question. The action depends on the evidence.
